Therapy Services
I specialize in the provision of evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapies for people age 18 and above. My treatment aims to teach cognitive and behavioral skills, including mindfulness, acceptance and interpersonal skills, in order to help those I work with move toward more full, meaningful lives. My approach is to help illuminate how our minds work so that we can put our cognitive processes to better use and move more flexibly in our lives. I help people clarify for themselves what direction they want their lives to go and what a meaningful life looks like for them. From that point, I aim to help clients learn the skills they need to overcome barriers to the life they want. Some of these skills include learning to cope with and regulate difficult emotional states, relating more effectively to unhelpful thinking patterns, learning behaviors that lead to more healthy, fulfilling relationships, and understanding how to approach emotional pain in order to heal. I also regularly incorporate self-compassion practices into my work and believe our relationship with ourselves is a foundational aspect of creating a life worth living. I have received extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindful Self-Compassion. I regularly draw upon and incorporate strategies drawn from other evidence-based approaches, including Behavior Activation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy. I am also trained to use EMDR for trauma.
I am authorized by PSYPACT to provide therapy services in 40 states.

Rates and Insurance
My current rate is $200 for a 55 minute session.
I accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover).
I am currently not an “in-network” provider for insurance companies. However, many of my clients are able to list me as an “out-of-network” provider. Clients using this approach pay for sessions and then receive reimbursement for therapy services directly from their insurance companies. Because policies differ so widely, you should contact your insurance company directly to determine whether this an option for you. If you would like to use insurance in this manner, I will provide you with monthly billing statements that can be directly submitted to your insurance company. Please feel free to ask more questions about this issue during our initial phone conversation.
Good Faith Estimates
As a result of the No Surprises Act, a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) agreement form will be sent for your review following the determination of needs. This will include an estimate of the cost you will pay over the course of your clinical services, which will be based on the estimate of services needed, duration, and potential diagnoses. Under the law, these estimates must be provided to patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance to cover costs of their treatment. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
